Sushi... Will it be affected by climate change?

Let's go back to our original topic: Will sushi be affected by climate change?

As pages are shown, they are in significant roles: they are directly linked with each other.

The Answer for this question is, Yes.

According to Grist, Climate change can impact on sushi and generally, fish market.

Many people believe that the greenhouse effect cannot impact on the fish market and so sushi might not get impacted. However, the article claims that climate change, the greenhouse effect, is responsible on fishing.

Because the ocean becomes warmer, many species will die. It is because of the deoxidation (losing oxygen). Since fish also requires oxygen to breathe, fish will soon die as the water contains less oxygen. Linking to the species that I introduced can be impacted because their prey such as shrimp will die due to a lack of oxygen. Because of the death, the food chain will be unbalanced and so will result dying. Plus, Octopus, specifically lives in coral reef, will die because coral reef will die also due to lacking oxygen and so will no longer to protect octopus.

As a result of death and unbalanced food chain, those species-- Octopus and Salmon-- will be rarer to consume. Despite the fact that 3 billion people consumes protein from the sea, the cost of fishing will be increased to 240%

What will happen to sushi?

Since the price will increase, it will be harder to enjoy sushi, which means it will be harder to afford. As a result, sushi restaurants will be closed and will be harder to consume them in a restaurant.
